What is an Ombuds?
Ombuds facilitate the resolution of conflict. They promote fair practices, respect between parties, effective communication, cooperation, and equity and civility in academic and work environments. 它们可发挥调查事实的作用,或提供建议,供冲突各方考虑. 他们不发表正式意见,也不提出正式的或有约束力的建议, 不要为任何人辩护,也不要决定纠纷的结果. What Services Do Ombuds Provide?
Private, Confidential Consultation

Problem-solving/Mediation

Who is Eligible for University Ombuds Services?

How Soon Can I Expect the Ombuds to Speak With Me?

Is Information I Share with the Ombuds Confidential?
